Headline: Dulcet Representin'
The name is Billy Burton. First of all, I must say, music is my life. I walk it, breathe it & live it everyday. I was self taught, with a little from help from family & friends, how to play drums, guitar, keyboards, etc. at an early age of my life. Vocals just came naturally along with my talents, which, I am totally thankful for. Thanks for all the help, Dad.
I have played in many different bands such as, hard rock, new rock, jazz, jam bands, and is currently creating & djing my original tracks with styles of Trance, DnB, Breaks, Industrial & recently producing, composing, and singing HipHop Alternative tracks with the uncommonly talented spitter from Madison, In, "ThePrince" and now, the lead vocalist for local cover band "Critically Acclaimed" & acoustical act,"WoodShed", with an original band in the mix. Believe me, I'm trying my ass off. I want this.
My goal of accomplishment in life is to have my music heard by millions weather it be movies & soundtracks, video games, performing live entertainment, creating albums, whatever, etc.
My former original hard rock band, "13thLeVeL", and recent cover band, "Speed Of Sound", has also performed for over 7 years with opening acts for some of the worlds well known National acts such as, Suicidal Tendencies, SevenDust, Trapt, Saliva, 7Mary3, Ours, Tantric, just to name a few.
In 2002, I was also nominated for best Male Vocalist of the year in Louisville, Ky and again in 2006 for the annual Phoenix Hill Tavern "All Star Celebration"
After learning more about the composing, producing, & the creating of the electronic music, I became, Dj Lenoxx
Lenoxx started dj’in in the late 90’s after attending several dance partys in Indianapolis(IN), Louisville(KY), Columbus & Cin City(OH), San Diego(CA), & Tiajuna(MX).. After meeting many dj’s from around the globe, I decided to start producing, composing, and performing my own original music using computer programs, turntables, keyboards, guitars, etc., & creating two electronic dance albums, "Magic Radio" in 2005, & the new album "Mind Control" which will be available hopefully sometime soon. And hopefully more thereafter..Wish me luck!!
