Headline: grunge rock, coloured by emo and pop
This is Taikes
Our music can best be described as a rough mixture of Nirvana, Placebo and Muse. Combining these different genres makes up for a sound we call Emo-Grunge. I wouldnt call it heavy, more emotionally heavy. Theres a lot of rough parts in the music but also alot of soft parts. I dont think there's a single song that is all heavy or all soft. We like to combine theese parts in almost all songs. There are exceptions but not many. There's also alot of sarcasm in the music. We started of when we were 16. Me Alex and former drum player Axel decided to form a band for fun. Later we became more serious and Axel quit just before our first gig. Then we found Oskar and he decided to help out and after that he stayed in the band. Today Taikes has had over 60 gigs in Sweden and 10 in Mexico. We've also won 2 competitions and toured the finals of Musik Direkt. We've never tried to make something new nor have we claimed to be original. We just keep on doing our thing. Hope you'll like it.
