T. L. "Good Boi" Griffin and J. L. "Sir Louis" Wilson make up the dynamic group Da Threat. These two small town country boys are product of Lake City, Florida, also known as the Gateway to Florida. These two childhood friends would come back together to form the group "Da Threat" after returning home in the year of 2003. Shortly after recording thier first album "Ghetto Scriptures" in April 2005 Da Threat was picked to be a part of the Source Magazines Unsigned Hype in July 2005. The group began opening shows all over the southeast region, for the likes of Webbie, Lil Boosie and Blood Raw just to name a few. Currently, Da Threat has completed and releases a new album "Under Oath" May 14, 2008. May 24, 2008 Da Threat won WLYX 96.7 hit it or quit it contest for unsigned artist.
